Dual-Screen ID Verification Terminals Delivered in Batch for Government, Hotel and Financial Counters

News ·

Shenzhen Xinhong Zhihui Technology has completed batch delivery of dual-screen ID verification terminals for deployment across government service halls, hotel front desks and financial institution counters.

The design principle behind the dual-screen terminal is consolidation: document reading, biometric capture, document-to-face matching, result display and electronic signature are closed into a single device, with one screen facing the operator and one facing the customer.

1. Government service halls: shortening the counter workflow

Counter verification typically involves reading the document, matching the face, confirming the business form and archiving the signature. With a single-screen setup, staff must repeatedly turn to guide the customer, who cannot see the matching process.

The dual-screen structure hands guidance to the customer screen: it shows the face capture frame, matching result and prompts in real time, while the operator screen pulls up the business form. Integrated with queue and business systems, per-counter verification time drops measurably.

2. Hotel front desks: compliance and speed together

Hotel check-in requires reading the guest document, matching against the public security registration system and uploading the record. The terminal reads the second-generation ID, completes matching and upload automatically, and the customer screen can be used to confirm registration details and sign.

3. Financial counters: three-factor verification

Account opening, insurance signing and securities onboarding require verified name, verified person and verified document. The device reads chip data via the ID reader, matches it against a live face or fingerprint, and retains the verification record and timestamp as required.

4. Hardware and compliance notes

Delivered units use a binocular camera (visible light plus infrared) for liveness detection, resisting photo, video and 3D mask attacks. Document reading covers second-generation ID cards, residence permits for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and passport OCR, with read time under one second and SAM card encryption. The fingerprint module can be specified as capacitive or optical depending on security level.

Interfaces include gigabit Ethernet, 4G/5G full band, WiFi, RS232/RS485, USB, HDMI and relay output for connection to queue systems, business systems and gates. Local caching with store-and-forward keeps operations running through network interruptions.

5. Further deployment

Beyond this batch, the series also suits hospital registration and birth certificate processing, airport and high-speed rail security checks, and examination entry verification, with body size, bracket angle and exterior silkscreen adjustable to the site.
